Your responsibilities

Thought leadership

Generate insightful & compelling content (webinars, blogs, whitepapers, etc.) to influence customers, buyers, industry specialists, research analysts, etc.

Work with appropriate subject matter experts and other stakeholders in thought leadership development

Product Positioning and Messaging

Define the messaging and positioning for campaigns to support key offerings for both clients and prospects

Competitive Intelligence

Analyze competitor and alternative offerings in the market, assess their strengths and weaknesses, and develop a strategy for winning against the competition

Market Research

Identify and validate urgent, pervasive problems in the market

Analyze competitor and alternative offerings in the market, assess their strengths and weaknesses, and develop a strategy for winning against the competition

Sales Tools/Training

Work closely with sales to understand their challenges and needs relative to selling the offering, and create and maintain sales tools to help sales succeed

Ensure new and updated training materials are maintained within the content management system

Event and Sales Support

• developing impactful marketing campaigns to support strategic objectives

• managing digital marketing initiatives including email, social media, SEO, PPC, and webinars

• supporting sales and business development with strategies and marketing materials

• driving product/service launch planning and execution

• working with SMEs to develop blogs, whitepapers, articles and webinars

• helping develop content marketing strategy and plan

• coordinating materials and opportunities with industry events and conferences

• managing key vendors

• creating data-driven marketing recommendations

• tracking and reporting key metrics

• conducting competitor analysis

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Science

  • 3+ years’ experience in life science consulting

  • Strongly prefer experience in pharmaceutical, contract research organization, or life sciences

  • Strong oral and written communications skills

  • Must be able to work independently with little direct supervision

  • Able to operate in a fast-paced, rapidly changing and growing environment

  • Proven ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders

  • Strong technical skills including expertise in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, WordPress

Job Overview:

The Consultant, Marketing will support marketing strategy and tactics specified drug development services. This position includes but is not limited to supporting content development, lead generation, sales strategies and marketing materials, launching new services with strategies and materials, collaborating with subject matter experts on strategies, obtaining market and customer input, managing digital marketing initiatives and growing partnership opportunities. The individual will be responsible for data-driven marketing recommendations and decisions supported by metrics and market research.

  • Experience in or knowledge of pharmaceutical consulting and development lifecycle

  • Self-motivated, innovative, multi-tasker, creative and analytical

  • Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail

  • Is data-driven and comfortable with data analysis and market research

  • Is flexible in business approaches and adapts well to change

  • Has a high-level of attention to detail

  • Advanced English speaking
