Your responsibilities

  • Supporting both local and international projects for implementation of WK solutions, working in multi-national WK teams and providing functional knowledge on banking

  • Implementing, testing and documenting implementations outcome. Ensuring a constant follow-up and evaluation of the situation.

  • Acting as an advisor towards our clients. Using your knowledge and expertise through different projects by advising on our standard and/or customized solutions.

  • Finding alternative solutions in case of problems and managing enhancements to resolve customer issues.

  • Providing client training and workshops.

  • Developing functional analysis in response to regulators and projects' specific requirements and adapting to customer developments.

  • Following implementation methodology – you will regularly report to the Project Manager to inform them about the status and any issues related to the project.

  • Contributing to pre-sales and marketing activities such as product demonstration, RFI, RFP as well as address business and regulatory issues raised during meetings.

Our requirements

  • Education: Master’s degree in Economics/Econometrics/Financial Mathematics/Banking

  • Certifications would be a plus (CFA/FRM/PRMIA)

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in risk management.

  • Expertise in one or more of the following areas:

  • Financial Risk Management: ALM, Liquidity Risk, Market Risk, FTP, Credit Risk, Capital Adequacy, Monte-Carlo Simulations, Basel IV

  • Regulatory Reporting Risk: LCR, NSFR, ALMM, IRRBB, preferably gained working within a banking organization, consulting companies, or from providing similar solutions to financial services institutions.

  • Thorough understanding of financial instruments mechanics and valuation (Loans, Bonds, Options, Swaps, etc.).

  • Demonstrable experience in a client-facing role.

  • Elasticity in time and space management – we offer flex office expecting willingness to travel and complete work on customer sites as required (after COVID-19 pandemic).

  • Fluency in Polish and English (written and spoken) is mandatory, other languages are a plus.

  • Desirable: Sound understanding of risk management principles preferably gained from working with a risk management software vendor.

  • Desirable: Previous experience in international consulting roles ideally bringing a track record in project/scope management gained from working directly with customers.

  • Desirable: Experience in delivering consultancy, training and presentations to external parties.

  • Desirable: Interest in software (implementation) projects; database, programming (e.g. java) and SQL knowledge.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Responsible, methodical, well-organized.

  • Self-learner who is motivated to be part of a dynamic, multi-cultural and geographically distributed team environment.

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

  • Assertive, able to make expert decisions based on personal judgment, with strong persuasion skills.
