Deloitte’s Strategy & Operations Consulting - Banking and Insurance Practice covers retail, commercial and transaction banking across channel, middle or back office operations and the associated processes including account servicing, payments, card operations, credit operations and collections and recoveries.
We work to improve profitability and business productivitythrough process simplification, operating cost reduction, and service improvement. We focus on the full front-to-back value chain (including front office), as well as supporting business functions such as operations, risk, technology and finance to improve the quality of service delivery.

While building a new Strategy & Operations team in Warsaw, in order to cooperate with Deloitte UK on a daily basis, we are seeking professionals for the position of:
Consultant - Strategy & Operations - Banking & Insurance team
As a Consultant, you will have the opportunity to:
Work together with Deloitte UK on a daily basis (reporting line, trainings, UK clients’ base, etc.);
Work at client’s locations mostly across Western Europe, UK, but also other locations, excluding Poland;
Travel – Clients engagements will require extensive travel- typically 3-4 times a week (Monday - Friday) on client’s location abroad with fly-backs for each weekend to Warsaw, Poland;
Work from Warsaw’s office (Q22 Building)- when offsite;
Work remotely - depending on the assignment and project arrangement;
Be part of interesting project assignments, including support and participation in high-profile, global, technology and strategy transformation ventures;
Support clients throughout the whole project lifecycle activities including requirements gathering;
Produce exceptional deliverables for clients;
Contribute to the development and growth of the retail banking or insurance practice;
Cooperate with multicultural environment.
Relevant experience within a major retail bank/ building society/ major insurer (General Insurance or Life and Pensions);
Experience in participation within Change Management/ Business Transformation;
Experience in working within Project Management environment;
Knowledge of methodologies including Lean, Six Sigma, BPR techniques, operating model analysis and design and implementation methodologies.
An understanding of the diverse requirements of clients and the need to work on projects in differing geographies and time zones;
Strong interpersonal skills- client orientation;
Fluent English- written and spoken (Polish unneeded);
Previous consulting experience- nice to have;
Relevant experience within digital transformation projects- nice to have.
