    Scope: North Eastern Europe

    The business context:

    Unilever Food Solutions (UFS) is the €2.5bn+ foodservice division of Unilever. It leads the dynamic Food Service market across its categories and has ambitious growth objectives, marketing a range of professional food and beverage products and services to chefs across 22 Multi Country Organization (MCO) in 72 countries.


    Currently UFS relies on sales reps visiting chefs to generate demand. Broadcast communication mediums are not yet developed, which limits the pace of growth. Digital offers a huge opportunity and future growth for UFS depends on evolving the business model and developing contact strategies to reach the 95% of operators we do not visit. Ambitious targets to transform our business towards a more digitally advanced one have been agreed with the Global board and set in motion.

    Main purpose of the job:

    As Content & Social Media specialist you will be responsible for managing creation and publication of thumb-stopping content on our digital touchpoints to dramatically increase the frequency and quality of our engagement with chefs.

    Main accountabilities:

    • Brief, create & publish brilliant content for owned channels - social media networks, newsletter and websites which drives traffic, engagement and grows returning visitors.
    • Responsibility for creation and coordination of always on content and publishing calendars across NEE.
    • Help build 7 Omnichannel Assets for eCommerce.
    • Ensure content is fully SEO optimized for against relevant key words to increase organic search ranking and traffic.
    • Analyse onsite user behaviour, further personalize and simplify user journeys on UFS websites leading to higher engagement (time spent) and conversion rates.
    • Optimise content creation across MCO based on Chef interests and engagement.

    Key skills

    • Experience in content marketing or content publication management across various channels, preferably in the Foods industry.
    • Proven ability to create content for owned media channels which is accessible, usable, and highly focused on user needs.
    • Experience of using analytics data, user feedback, and user research to define or refine content so that it best meets user need.
    • Able to manage content creation which is optimized for search engines and execute Search Engine Optimization strategy (SEO).
    • Management & Coordination of content/publishing calendar, preferably across several countries.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Agency management & briefing skills.

    Relevant experience

    • Bachelor or Master degree.
    • 2 years of working experience managing and creating content, preferably across several countries.
    • Basic experience in working with a variety of reporting tools (GA360, FB BM, agency reports).
    • Website UX/Content optimisation.
    • Passion for Food & Cooking.


    • Experience in working at a multi-country organization
    • SEO and SEM expertise.
    • Adobe Suite experience (AEM/ACM)
    • B2B experience
