Your responsibilities

  • Create quarterly/yearly content marketing strategy in collaboration with Inbound Manager

  • Plan out the content calendar and distribution strategy that aligns with the company’s primary goals

  • Be in the know of the latest SEO developments, content trends, and key eCommerce/PPC updates

  • Conduct regular keyword research and create content briefs for copywriters to ensure the production of high-ranking content

  • Implement SEO best practices to improve SERP results & rankings for the DataFeedWatch blog and website

  • Oversee timely execution and quality content production

  • Analyze newly created content for improvement opportunities

  • Perform final edits on articles produced by the copywriters

  • Recognize new topic clusters that represent a business growth opportunity

  • Implement an upkeep system to ensure the existing content stays relevant, updated, and in line with the latest SEO guidelines

  • Create a content repurposing strategy to maximize the reach of our existing content

  • Work closely with the Linkbuilding Specialist on creating and executing an off-page SEO strategy

  • Maintain a centralized reporting dashboard continuously track and evaluate our content initiatives

  • Occasionally create blog content in collaboration with in-house product experts

Our requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in creating or managing content creation in a B2B

  • International setting

  • Proven track record of executing successful B2B content strategies

  • Impeccable command of written English - C2 Level or native

  • Knowledge of content marketing principles

  • Independent and proactive approach to projects

  • Creative, innovative, and analytical mindset

  • Strong research skills

  • Ability to provide quality deliverables in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to run several projects simultaneously

  • Ownership of assigned projects

  • Working knowledge of on-page & off-page SEO content tactics

  • Basic understanding of technical SEO

  • Proficiency in using popular SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMRush, or similar

  • Strong writing and editing skills

  • Understanding of content funnels and buyer journey stages

About the Job

As a Content Strategist, you will develop, execute and oversee the delivery of our content marketing plan, aiming to attract and convert our target audiences (incl. Digital Advertising Agencies and Online Retailers). You will also work towards increasing organic traffic to our blog and improving our domain authority.

Our current content efforts are geared toward generating new business opportunities, which is reflected in the main KPIs we work with: organic traffic volume, CVR from visitor to prospect, number of relevant backlinks, content downloads, and more.

For this role, we are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter, who will show independence, a proactive approach, business savviness and will feel confident working with precise targets for creative projects.

To achieve our content goals you will join forces with the Inbound Team:

work closely with the Inbound Team Manager to craft the quarterly/yearly content creation & distribution plan

regularly consult Inbound Sales reps to ensure our content is helpful, relevant & timely for our prospects

collaborate with 2 Copywriters and a Link Building Specialist to deliver desired results

You’ll be joining the Inbound Team at a great time - just as the Content Squad is being formed. This means you will influence the shaping of content processes, rather than having to fit into the existing structures. Yay! 😀
