Continuous Improvement Lead

Job description:

The Continuous Improvement Lead’s role is to steer and drive continuous improvement and transformation cross-functionally. By having a holistic overview of the services and solutions we provide within Finance, HR, Supply Chain and IT, it will be the role of the Continuous Improvement Lead to tie together the interdependencies within these functions to ensure our services deliver a joint outcome.   This position will report into the Head of GBS Transformation Office which is based in Denmark.
 
Working with Continuous Improvement Specialists and Business Process Owners, it will be the role of the Continuous Improvement Lead to address the areas where processes interface cross-functionally and ensure these are clearly defined and issues addressed. Furthermore, it will be important to identify process areas that could further benefit from further optimization through requirements such as Robotics and new Systems to support or cost efficiencies.    
 
Further, the Continuous Improvement Lead will be responsible to drive strategic initiatives to implement a cultural change towards new ways of working based on data driven decisions, cross-functional collaboration, digital workforce and agile methodologies. We are continuously working towards improved outcomes and ways of working, improved stakeholder relations as well as continuously maturing and transforming GBS. For this we need your help, and adaptability and passion are crucial. 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Knowledge and minimum 5 years’ experience with large scale and cross-functional transformation
  • Strong customer focus and problem-solving capabilities
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence and manage without authority in a matrix organization
  • Ability to proactively handle high degree of ambiguity and quickly changing scope 
  • Change management skills as well as keen interest to drive and support new ways of working and impact organizational culture
  • Team-player with a high appetite for learning and being part of a team placed in different locations
  • The ideal candidate has a background from a GBS setup (Global Business Solutions)
  • Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma Methodology as well as IT automation, digitalization and robotics is an advantage 
  • Experience with working in a Scandinavian culture will also be considered an advantage
