Continuous Improvement SpecialistNumer ref.: 133379

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of project plan for a continuous improvement project by identifying and ordering tasks within a plan
  • Monitors performance of delivery of own tasks against project plan
  • Supports the re-engineering of existing processes in place.  Applies appropriate methodology to support such activities
  • Analyses large volumes of data to align to performance and efficiency measures and support waste reduction and continuous improvement as well as financial and budgetary information
  • Responsible for the end to end process (discover, design, build, deploy) to ensure timely and accurate delivery of the projects and solutions.
  • Takes responsibility to build project documentation library, drawing out key documents for future reference
  • Supports the identification of best practice examples from within projects and updates toolkits and best practice versions that form the basis of templates for use in future projects / programmes
  • Acts flexibly in the delivery of tasks. Recognises these for the learning opportunities that they create
  • Enable strong relationship with stakeholders, internal teams and BI team members and facilitate the communication among them.
  • Partner with the other workstreams and stakeholders to ensure on-going insight into team achievements and opportunity for improvement.
Essential
  • Experience of project management tools
  • Advanced working knowledge of all Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Understanding of Sharepoint
  • Understanding of PowerPoint and Excel functionality
  • Presentation and report-making skills in order to present the findings to senior  management.
  • Experience of managing / influencing remote teams
Desirable
  • Experience of using human resource databases and workflows
  • Work experience in a similar role
  • Experience working within a recruitment environment
  • Experience of Business Intelligence tools
