Contracting Excellence Manager

Your responsibilities

• Leading process excellence projects (such as: template optimization, playbooks, training, new ways of working, systems and communications) to enhance and optimise contracting efficiency and compliance.

• Partnering with CNC, GP, business and other stakeholders to deliver project goals, manage project budgets and balance demands of scope, cost, quality, resources and risk.

• Challenging existing ways of working and, utilising structured and disciplined methodologies, identifying root causes and practical and sustainable solutions.

• Co-managing Global Procurement’s contract template repository, developing new templates and incorporating updates as needed, including coordination with the CNC Contract Management teams, Legal, Tax, Privacy, Pharmacovigilance and other stakeholders.

• Coordinating with the Global Procurement communications team, supporting the CNC Leadership team with communications and outreach activities.

• Coordinating with the Global Procurement training team, supporting both the training needs of CNC employees as well as CNC’s training of Delivery and business colleagues.

• Support wider Contract Excellence Team with Contract Lifecycle Management projects and oversight

• Overseeing and managing CNC’s relationships with Functional Service Providers. Supporting development, implementation and maintenance of contracting tools and systems

We’re looking for a Contracting Excellence Manager to join us in our Wrocław. As a member of our team, you will work in a dynamic global environment where you will meet the challenge to bring change management, project management, process optimization and continuous improvement to contracting/negotiations excellence activities. You will work closely with Procurement, Finance, Legal, and other colleagues either as a peer, coach, project/workstream lead, to bring innovative solutions to our internal customers.

The Contracts, Negotiations & Compliance (CNC) team focuses on delivering contracting support, solutions, and efficiencies to internal business customers across Factor Law. The CNC team uses specialized and in-depth knowledge of contracting-related topics, and of Factor Law overall, to offer and deliver solutions that manage business, legal, and compliance risks. The Contracting Excellence team is focused on enabling best-in-class procurement contract management and negotiations activities through co-creating, delivering, and owning initiatives and projects that drive effective and efficient contract drafting, negotiating and operations. The team also oversees our Functional Service Provider relationships.
