About the project
The Presales Business Proposal Manager manages the development and implementation of the presale process for the Cybersecurity service solutions.
Managing projects from identification of the presale opportunity and proposal inception to transition of the project to the post-sale team.
Designing and documenting optimal customer solution approach
Coordinating with the various functional teams (Systems Integration, Service, Sales, Product Groups) to ensure all business unit goals are addressed in our proposals
Leading and playing an active role in executing quality proposal delivery for proposals
Tracking proposal compliance, evaluating compliance concerns, and escalating non-compliance issues
Ensuring proposal quality by reviewing proposals from front to back cover to minimize errors and risks.
Desktop publishing proposals and managing production, adhering to formatting and layout guidelines.
Ensuring on-time delivery/submission.
Archiving proposals and project files according to established processes and procedures.
Working with the other business groups, these key individuals are responsible for identifying upcoming opportunities, evaluating requirements, identifying specific statements of work, and ensuring the proposed customer solution will be implemented with the best possible strategy.
Assisting in the development of business plans, strategies, and approaches to take advantage of business opportunities.
Bachelor’s Degree is required. Preferred emphasis in Engineering or MBA
4+ years experience in one of the following: Sales Engineering, Engineering or Project Management
Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
Comfortable presenting to internal and external audiences
Experience implementing and delivering Cybersecurity Services is preferred
Proficiency in applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, email and web applications
Take ownership of projects to drive multiple people to meet project deadlines
Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Willingness to think out of the box and challenge the status quo
Attention to detail and a flawless execution mindset
Fluency in written and spoken English. Fluent German will be an advantage
Ability to travel 10% (domestic only)
