Your responsibilities

For a major client of the company, placed under the authority of the FAP Manager, the Controlling & Master Data Specialist is responsible for:

• Support FAP Manager in the controlling of the company

• Exchanges with client teams concerning repository data issues (prices, models, carriers data, …) and system adjustment control

• Carrier onboarding on customer financial system and new flow implementation

Controlling activities

• Actively participates in the month closure procedures

• Provides the team with the analyses of financial results of the company (monthly results, budget monitoring)

• Provides the global finance departments with the financials requested reports

• Cooperates with external accounting, billing and claims teams

• Participates in the preparation and the control of the company’s yearly budget, forecast and 3-years plan

• Controls the costs of the company activity

• Assists countries in setting up Division procedures to harmonize

• Participates in reconciliation during accounting closings and rolling out new set ups in case of discrepancies

Supervises the Master Data management on the logistics & administrative chain

• Ensures the completeness of subcontracting set ups within the division

• Actively participates in the deployment of new IT tools

• Actively participates at each step in the rolling out of new contracts from pre-sales to operational systems

• Ensures the data management for geographical site codes, article codes, carrier codes, etc…

• Ensures the Master Data Management for all the activities implementations and ensure the run with all the corrections & set ups needed in the IT systems.

• Sets up procedures, methods and tools to improve the process performances within his/her scope

• Ensures the consistency of requests for creation and modification of databases

• Ensures consistent documentation of master data

• Reports the highlights within his/her scope (market monitoring, lines of progress, etc.).

• Assists the FAP Manager as a real business partner to help the division with his vision on the data.

• Actively participates in synergies and continuous improvement of IT process

Expected results

• Establishment of Master Data committee to harmonize the process across the countries and to challenge the subcontractors.

• Establishment of rejections / corrections reporting for all the division entities

• Implementation of the OBT tool and harmonize its use across the countries.

• Minimizes the rejections of the billing process by ensuring constant set ups on the tools

• Monthly closure procedures accomplished and reliable results provided

Our requirements


• Background in Finance or Management (controlling)

• Very good expertise in the Transport & Logistics activity will be an asset

• More than 5 years of professional experience

• Very good knowledge of English, French will be an asset – spoken and understood (PLEASE SEND YOUR CV IN ENGLISH)

• Comfortable with office tools (Proficiency in Excel) and IT systems

• Appetite for numbers and management control
