Your responsibilities
- Participation on development and testing of power converters (Thyristor + IGBT) according to traction standards EN50328, IEC60146, IEC62590
- Providing feedback to design and development team, project managers
- Commissioning of inverters at the customer's site (worldwide)
- Customer training, solving possible problems
- Ensuring the complete functionality of the converter HW/ SW
- Uploading and debugging SW or minor adjustments in SW
- Finding new solutions, innovation
- Administrative activities related to commissioning
- Close cooperation with the company's headquarter in Geneva
Employer requirements
- University or high school education in electrical engineering
- 2 years of experience in case of high school leaving exam or university graduate with short working experience
- Knowledge of inverter principles as an advantage – PID controllers (PWM, PFC)
- Knowledge of power electronics
- Willingness to travel
- English at a communicative level (communication with customers from all over the world)
- Communication talent, ability to deal with the customer
- Reliability, diligence, flexibility, independence
