Your responsibilities

As a Practice Coordinator for McKinsey Digital, you will work closely with the leadership group of the McKinsey Digital service lines to advance strategic priorities and deliver operational excellence. This means that you will own specific priority topics out of the wider practice management portfolio, for example credentialing, with a certain degree of flexibility along the way as priorities evolve over time.

You will be responsible for helping with broader initiatives and maintaining strong links to the broader DnA (Digital and Advanced Analytics) and QuantumBlack (Analytics), Leap, and Tech teams to ensure collaboration on resources and initiatives; you will advance opportunities for our best practices and create creative and impactful methods for how we operate and deliver top-notch services to our colleagues, and you will help set up best-in-class practice management processes. Given the global nature of this role, it will be particularly important to be able to build strong working relationships and networks that can be leveraged to advance McKinsey Digital.

You will support the definition and execution of Credentialing strategies for the DnA service lines; this includes but is not limited to running and upgrading the Certification process for Partners, APs, and team leaders together with the Learning team, and running Certification Committees on a regular basis. It also includes driving synergies between service lines and exploring ways to further streamline the process (e.g., through digitized applications), and ensuring efficient deployment of certified Partners on the relevant studies. You will help to implement new credentials (e.g., Apprenticing Technology Partner) as needed. You will also help to identify and orchestrate opportunities to bring together and build community among our certified colleagues in each service line and region. Based on your interest and skill set, this support can easily grow beyond the initial focus to cover broader practice priorities.

You will support the preparation of leadership meetings and relevant documents which touch on credentialing, and any other topics you are driving. You will also work with the Learning team to provide day-to-day operational support for the certification process, e.g., ensuring applications are complete and references are returned in a timely fashion and identifying cases that are ready for practice or committee review.

You will expand our approach to performance management through defining and capturing KPIs for our global leadership, including reporting on certification metrics by credential, service line, and region, and identifying opportunities to increase adoption. You will prepare and provide insights through Partner-level ready material. This will require you to leverage your network with the Firm and ability to work with the different systems of the Firm to clean up, combine and analyze data that supports the credentialing goals of each service line.
