Your responsibilities
- Assisting Group Chief Accounting Officer in leading Corporate Accounting department.
- Determining accounting treatment of various transactions under US GAAP and preparing Accounting Memos.
- Providing support to local teams on accounting related matters
- Preparation of consolidated financial statements and accompanying notes.
- Managing group’s quarterly and annual external audit process including reviewing of audit material prior to delivery to the external audit firm, coordinating site visits with external auditors and responding to external auditor inquiries.
- Leading various accounting related projects as required.
- Accounting Policies review and maintenance.
- Coordinating Internal Controls performance.
- Coordinating TSA costs allocation in Europe.
- Facilitating cross-functional collaboration to enhance accounting, control, financial and operational support.
- Preparing ad hoc financial analysis to challenge the status quo; proactively looking for financial relationships to be evaluated to improve operational performance also through embracing automation and digital innovation.
Our requirements
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Six or more years of progressively responsible experience in finance field.
- Computer applications knowledge in Windows environment with MS Office experience; familiarity with operating within Google Suite is a plus
- Working knowledge of US GAAP, FASB standards and internal control processes and procedures.
- Big4 experience is a plus.
- Structured and solution-oriented way of working.
- Very good English both written and spoken.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
