Your responsibilities

  • We are looking for a candidate for the role of Regulatory Data Business Analyst to join the Strategic data souring and consumption team. A successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver the target state for data sourcing from strategic hubs into a newly built reporting platform. This includes:

  • Participating in the analysis of the data required by each internal consumer (Credit Risk, Market Risk) and how this translates to the end state data, calculation and reporting architecture.

  • Work with portfolio management teams, technology teams and subject matter experts to ensure that critical initiatives are delivered in-line with the firmwide strategy.

  • Manage the analysis and implementation of data changes driven by upstream architecture / data changes.

  • Help synthesise updates, challenges and potential solutions for senior management.

  • Additional responsibilities would include engaging in and managing run the bank/business as usual activity, including data quality issues, incidents and adjustments.

Our requirements

  • Proven record of business and data analysis skills, ideally in the derivatives space.

  • Excellent Excel, SQL and data analysis skills, ideally using big data analysis and visualization tools like Alteryx and Tableau.

  • Ability to drive meetings to identify appropriate solutions across multiple stakeholders.

  • Understanding of technology process flows and interactions with technology teams.

  • Inquisitive mind.

  • Leadership skills: ability to take initiative and drive projects to completion.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Ability to multi-task, coordinate multiple work streams concurrently and be versatile in running with a broad range of project types.

  • Experience in stakeholder management across multiple lines of business and functional areas.

The Capital Change team within the TCIO function is responsible for maintaining the infrastructure required to support the calculation and reporting of Capital and other Capital-related disclosures such as Leverage, Large Exposures, CCAR, ICCAP etc. The team partners closely across JPMC functions including Technology, Capital Management, Capital Production & Operations and Lines of Business to deliver key priorities for the Firm including the implementation of ongoing regulatory changes and the development of a new reporting and analytics application.
