Your responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Consolidation & Reporting Manager. The Cost Accounting & Financial System Assistant will contribute to controls over inventory and accounting functions, update chart of accounts in JDE and will support monthly finance closing process,
Assisting in the improvement of internal controls, mainly related to inventory evaluation,
Controlling, understanding and improving inventory analysis reports and analyzing variances,
Monitoring inventory transactions and reconcile inventory accounts to the General Ledger,
Setting up and executing SOX controls mainly related to inventory and COGS,
Assisting subsidiaries during monthly closing process and inter-company transactions control,
Preparing monthly journal entries as needed,
Updating the cost center plan and chart of accounts in JDE,
Assisting in special projects as required.
Our requirements
Bachelor/Master’s degree in Finance,
1 to 2 years of experience in Finance, with experience in accounting,
Accounting principles knowledge: US Gaap and/or IFRS,
Knowledge of JD Edwards,
Good knowledge of Excel,
Fluent English,
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills,
High flexibility,
Team player,
Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure while managing multiple projects.
