Cost Accounting Senior Analyst

Proactively ensure the accuracy of individual plant manufacturing processes:

▪️ Track and analyze production variances, scrap, cycle counts and material variances,

▪️ Monitor outstanding work orders and ensure they are properly accounted,

▪️ Provide feedback to the appropriate individuals and initiate corrective actions,

▪️ Work closely with the manufacturing floor to resolve issues prior to month end.

Perform month/quarter/year end activities in SAP:

▪️ Monitor closing settlement activities in SAP, settle orders and calculate work in progress,

▪️ Calculate, process and analyze in transit and other inventory reserves,

▪️ Inventory accounts reconciliation, review the accounts followed by corrective actions.

Participate in the annual cost roll process:

▪️ Coordinate, analyze, assist with key inputs into cost roll,

▪️ Resolve annual cost roll errors,

▪️ Analyze year over year standard cost changes and the impact on the revaluation of inventory.

▪️ Conduct physical inventory audits, verify the procedures and analyze the results.

▪️ Re-cost materials as required, analyze results of the re-costs.

▪️ Provide support in establishing, maintaining, and enforcing internal control policies and procedure.

▪️ Work on any special projects and ad-hoc analysis.

▪️ Participate in SAP go-lives and data validation.

This position is part of the Global Cost Accounting Team, HQ in the US and work collaboratively with ISC and non ISC functions. The individual in this role will work closely with the manufacturing sites on matters related to physical inventories, variances to standards, issue identification and implementation of the corrective actions. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of supporting business partners, strong financial and systems acumen with focus on efficiency, and exemplary communication skills.
