We are currently looking for a Cost Controller to join our team in Sochaczew, Poland who will work fully remotely.
Cost Controller

The Role

Reporting to a Global Operations Controller you will be responsible for determining actual costs of manufacturing, scrutinizing associated company expenses, analyzing profitability and preparing the company budget.

This position is also responsible for assuring compliance with GAAP and LBCE’s accounting policies/procedures by developing and monitoring control systems involving inventories, standard cost, labor systems and reviews of these areas.

In this role you will have an opportunity to work with cross-functional teams from around the world and participate in a various global projects.

Responsibilities

  • Daily Cost Rolls of new parts
  • Daily, weekly, monthly review of Purchase Price Variance and purchased item costs including moving average review for Resin and Additives
  • Month-end cost/manufacturing close journal entries
  • Daily review of inventory position/DIO
  • Monthly/annual Inventory/DIO Forecasting
  • Weekly/Monthly Spread Report reconciliation
  • Monthly Book to Perpetual Inventory Reconciliation
  • Annual Operating Expense budget book preparation support and consolidation
  • Quarterly IFRS 2 Standard to Actual and NRV Analysis preparation
  • Monthly Operations P&L preparation and variance analysis
  • Monthly Cost-Roll for Finished Goods
  • Monthly operations scorecard preparation
  • Perform month-end production settlements for the US
  • Drive E&O Review and analysis for North America

Profile

  • Bachelors’ Degree required
  • Minimum 5 years prior experience in Accounting required
  • Minimum of 2 years of Cost Accounting experience preferred
  • Manufacturing background strongly preferred with in-plant experience is a plus
  • Computer proficiency including strong Excel experience
  • SAP ERP experience is a plus, Tier 1 ERP system experience required
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Very good command of English
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities and use time efficiently
  • Adapt to changes in the work environment
