Your responsibilities
- Costing of manufactured and purchased items
- Leading the annual cost roll
- Supporting Senior Plant Controller on the Labour, Overhead and Burden rates calculation
- Analysis of Cost Estimation models or “What If” scenarios to support business decisions
- Support on Make or Buy analysis
- Analysis of standard costs and actual production costs and resolution of issues
- Margin analysis specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability
- Partner with Product Data Management to ensure Bill Of Material and Cost are aligned as result of activity changes
- Coordinate the recosting process and impact analysis
- Identify cost drivers and make recommendations for cost improvement
Our requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field
- Experience in working on a manufacturing plant will be a plus
- Comfortable to work in a fast-paced, international matrix organization
- Natural curiosity about business operations and processes
- Positive and energetic approach with a “can-do” attitude
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Efficiency in MS Office package
- Fluent English

Job Overview:
The Costing Analyst plays a key role being responsible for the cost accounting activities related to manufactured and purchased parts. He/She is responsible for the costing of the products as well as the identification of cost drivers and cost savings opportunities to make recommendations to management.
This position reports into the Sr. Plant Controller but interacts with multiple levels and positions in Product Data Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Project and Product Management and Procurement.
TE Connectivity's Financial Planning & Analysis Teams develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control. They perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. They gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. The Financial Planning & Analysis Teams also perform economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.
