For our client, an international group we are looking for an experienced and proactive  Finance Manager, a right hand for the Country Manager as well as  business partner for management and headquarters. The position will be based in Wrocław.

Your responsibilities

  • Comply with state and local financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing compliance, and taking action

  • Work with the senior management to efficiently develop proposal budgets, provide access to project finance information, and manage contract/ grant compliance and reporting

  • Responsible for accounting and FP&A, financial reporting, all cash management, investments, helping to drive the company’s financial strategy and hiring needs of own department, as well as ensuring the correctness of payroll process (payments, bookings, fiscal tasks)

  • Lead the development and use of best-practice policies, practices and tools that ensure a well controlled yet flexible organization with strong fiscal management, project management, cross team communications and workflow

  • Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyze internal operations, identify areas of cost reduction and process enhancement

  • Monitor performance with tracking, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports if needed, both current and forecasting for earnings calls, the management team, and the rest of the company

  • Perform risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments, and evaluate and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives

  • Manage finance personnel and oversee financial IT systems, ensuring compliance with all applicable Financial Accounting Standards Board, Internal Revenue Service, State Attorney General, and other relevant regulations

  • Manage and control company assets and negotiate with service providers (quality and pricing) Personnel

  • Lead, motivate and develop his/ her direct reports

  • Manage performance and conduct annual employee performance appraisal for direct reports

  • Represent the company in front of the authorities

  • Manage the administrative tasks (local taxes, authorizations etc.) with local authorities (Councils, Public administration etc.)

Employer requirements

  • At least 5 years in a similar position in an international company

  • Detailed knowledge of book-keeping legislation/ IFRS

  • Knowledge of ERP-Software (ideally SAP Finance)

  • Preference for FP&A and analysis of facts based on figures

  • Economical or management university degree, ideally also accounting specialization and certified

  • Teamplayer, assertive and with strong communication skills and ability to manage a team

  • Good negotiation and analytical skills

  • Very good English knowledge

  • Very good MS Office skills
