Your responsibilities
Industry & Corporate Analysis is a global unit providing SEB with state-of-the-art analysis of clients in support decision making in our credit business. Our analysts cover counterparts across a wide range of sectors including engineering, consumer products, energy, shipping and real estate throughout our home markets.
As part of our team your task will be to provide credit opinions and recommendations relating to Nordic and/or German clients within the Large Corporates and Financial Institutions division. This involves business model evaluation, financial modelling to predict repayment capacity, the writing of credit reports and presentation of these to credit committees across the Bank.
We also see you contributing to thematic research covering e.g. industry overviews, ESG evaluations and transition risk analysis. All our analysts are part of global sector-based teams to ensure individual development, skill building and a uniform approach across markets.
We emphasize the value of collaboration and the work may be conducted both individually or together with a senior colleague depending on your level of experience.
Our requirements
Fluency in English (C1/C2)
Fluency in German (C1/C2)
An university degree, preferably in accounting and finance or engineering
A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant professional experience (credit analysis, M&A, transaction based on due diligence or financial advisory).
An analytical mindset and ability to understand and communicate complex matters
An Interest in financial markets
An ability to interpret financial statements
Experience of digital tools including advanced use of MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
A team player attitude but with ability to work independently and towards tight deadlines
