Your responsibilities

  • Credit approval process: Customer and Credit analysis, setting Credit Limits.

  • Managing the collection function in cooperation with Amer Sports Shared Service Center Invoice to Cash Teams.

  • Managing last stage of Order Release Process, based on Customer analysis.

  • Management reporting.

  • Increasing sales and profits through handling of the credit function.

  • Planning, direction and supervision of credit process flow.

  • Working with credit insurance company.

  • Mitigating bad debt losses.

  • Monitoring DSO and A/R overdue.

  • Month-End closing process.

  • Working with sales to develop a collection approach (collecting cash, reducing risk, and enhancing customer relations).

  • Maintaining good communication with company management, ITC Teams, financial controlling and treasury, and escalating issues when appropriate.

  • Keeping open communication among all Teams.

  • Supporting other countries from EMEA region.

Our requirements

  • Advanced English and German.

  • Comprehensive understanding of Business and Credit.

  • Sound Business Communication Skills.

  • Expert Negotiations Skills.

  • Firsthand Cash Collection Experience.

  • Minimum of two years Credit management or Credit review experience.

  • Thorough understanding of Accounting and Financial Analysis.

  • Understanding of Debt Collection and Bankruptcy processes.

  • Persistent approach with ability to follow up and follow through.

  • Higher education in finance and/or business management.

  • Computer skills (SAP R/3 FI/SD, MS Office).

  • Sales experience would be an asset.
