Your responsibilities
Oversight of financial risks of the group from e.g. customers, suppliers, banks, countries or special financing instruments, e.g. leasing, guarantees.
Your ability to interpret financial statements, ratio analysis will be critical as you review and provide credit risk opinions to business units as it relates to their proposed customer financing and market investment programs.
Act as key contact for counterparty risk management topics and represent the group in front of customers and public.
Building and maintaining relationships throughout the organization, embracing change and fostering a One Team culture. You should be comfortable making decisions independently where appropriate.
Relying on your strong negotiation, mediation, and conflict management skills, you will be the decision-taker in exceptional escalation cases using CCRM processes.
Driving ensurance of global governance in relation to counterparty risk associated guideline (customer risk management, bank risk management, country-risk management, supplier risk).
Support and consult the management in risk management related topics.
Design of financial solutions considering customer needs, risks and rewards for the group.
Our requirements
University degree of economics / business with focus on corporate finance or comparable education.
Minimum 3 years of professional experience with focus in credit risk management.
Have a high level understanding of IFRS related topics (i.e. IFRS 9).
Capable to understand technical background of functional requirements.
Implement solutions in collaboration with functions and IT.
Familiar with SAP S4/Hana and MS-Office applications.
Willingness to develop and transfer knowledge.
Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
German language skills are an advantage.
Open-mined and willingness to try out new ways.
