Credit Risk Senior Analyst (GPB)
Location: Kraków

The role resides under the Risk function of the Global Private Bank (GPB).
The Credit Risk Portfolio Management team is responsible for the production of reporting, analytics and management information covering the Global Private Bank lending activity. The team stakeholders are mainly local regulators, Board of Directors, Finance and the Risk function.
The team also plays an important role in the implementation of new regulatory requirements and other internal project affecting the lending activity of GPB.

The GPB Senior Credit Risk Analyst is able to analyse large data sets in an efficient way, providing relevant information to the managements about trends and drivers in the lending activity. A strong team member, he will have to handle multiple concurrent tasks, communicate effectively and be attentive to detail.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Undertake credit-related periodic and ad-hoc reports in a timely and accurate manner
    - Prepare reports for internal stakeholder and external regulatory authorities
    - Ensure that the appropriate level of monitoring and control is undertaken when analysing credit data
    - Handle and analyse large datasets
    - Reconcile and consolidate returns for global reports
    - Improve existing reporting tools in Excel and Access 
  • Perform volatility, simulation and stress testing analysis for new and existing credit facilities
    -  Ensure prompt and adequate analysis of Lombard portfolios
    - Proactive attitude to improve quality of analysis
  • Analysis and reporting on financial products held as Lombard collateral
    - Monitor portfolio concentration and emerging markets exposure
    - Review market movements and analyze the potential impact on Lombard Portfolio
  • Support on internal models used to measure the regulatory capital of the Bank
    - Active role in the monthly capital calculation review process and reporting to Finance

Requirements:

  • University graduate or equivalent with solid understanding of financial markets and credit risk
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in banking (e.g. Risk, Product Control, Front Office, Middle Office)
  • CFA, FRM or other international financial/risk accreditations are an asset
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with ability to think out of the box
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken. French is an asset
  • Very good MS Excel skills (technical formulas, Pivot, VBA), Access is an asset
  • Administrative efficiency and excellent time management
  • Excellent attention to detail and a disciplined approach
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and projects and work under pressure
  • Strong team player with very good communicational skills
  • Good understanding of various financial instruments
