Your responsibilities

General scope of responsibility:

• Compliance with the Principles of Good Practice, corporate regulations and procedures as well as legal provisions in the field of position responsibility.

• Raising qualifications and sharing expertise with colleagues.

The responsibility of the position:

Customer Master Data and Pricing Administrator

• Creates and maintain new customer and commercial accounts and all the relative attributes in SAP system and Salesforce, enabling quick and efficient execution of sales transactions.

• Updates customer master and price master data in SAP, check master data reports in accordance with compliance procedures and carry out regular data cleansing and quality check

• Responsible for all pricing and rebate administration. Price Data Administration, Rebate Administration.

• Pricing hierarchies’ alignment of pricing business processes for all franchises to include: Base price, Promotions, Discounts, Freight, Rebates.

• Proposes and reports improvements in processes, as well as reports ideas for improving the SAP and Salesforce functionality.

• Analyzes the problems reported by the business and proposes solutions.

• Creates and develops reporting solutions.

• Cooperates with other departments and reports problems to the regional unit if it is not possible to solve them locally.

• Participates in the data management process and in activities related to updating / cleaning data.

• Customer hierarchies alignment with business processes for all franchises to include: Buying groups, franchises, KA specifics structures

• Acts as the first point of contact for inquiries / errors related to customer data.

• Prepares cyclical reports and reports on demand according to business needs.

• Is responsible for checking the correctness of the documentation necessary for creating a new customer in the system.

• Ensures data compliance with control requirements, internal processes and compliance requirements.

• Completes AFCM controls relating to business area

• Any other duties or projects as requested by the Line Manager commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility for this role, for which the associate has the necessary experience and/or training.

• Listing and exclusions maintenance

• Enters and updates data in the system in a timely and correct manner.

• Works independently with little supervision of his superior. Has professional knowledge that is used independently in everyday work.

• Eliminates documents inconsistent with current procedures and performs consistency report on regular data quality check

• Possesses the knowledge on product portfolio at a level that allows effective implementation of tasks.

• Shows initiative and high standards of cooperation with other departments.

• Seeks solutions to problems and implements them, shares solutions with team members.

• Provide Internal customer satisfaction related to quality, timeliness and appropriateness of service and analytics information

• Manages communication with affiliates smoothly and deals with conflicts

Our requirements

Job profile (Specify the expected profile of education and work experience along with the level of advancement)

Education (minimum / desired): Bachelor's degree minimum, higher education preferred

Languages: English – Other European languages are a plus (German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian)

Competencies:

• 2-5 years previous experience in master data maintenance focusing on Customer and Pricing

• Customer Operations / Customer Service experience is a plus

• good knowledge of SAP environment especially SD module

• good computer skills (including Microsoft Office, SAP-BI)

• SFDC knowledge and experience is a plus

• experience in working within regional structures and in remote teams

The role is part of of the Customer Operations Service Centre team supporting Europe Alcon affiliates post SAP (IRIS) implementation.

Customer and Pricing Master data specialist manages customer data and the pricing process in SAP and SFDC ensuring business support as well as data consistency and completeness through appropriate updating and standardization of data. Person on this position coordinates activities with other departments, ensuring the implementation of sales transactions in a quick and effective manner.
