About You: 

  • have 2-3-years managerial experience in Business Management (FM position), Logistics, Customer Relations or equivalent knowledge of key store processes and how to deliver the best customer service,
  • experience of working in a fast-paced retail environment and a proven track record of getting things done,
  • ability to work on a tactical and an operational level in unknown environment and you know how to plan the business on a strategic level,
  • excellence in prioritising and organising your work and the work of others to make the most efficient use of time available,
  • strong analytical skills to follow-up and continuously improve to the customer experience journey,
  • have the ability to work through others, set priorities, delegate responsibility and give open and honest feedback,
  • ability to communicate fluently in English and Polish (spoken and written),
  • you are IKEA values Ambassador and share them with co-workers by leading by example.


About the role:
As a Customer Logistics Manager you will act as a Leader of the Logistics and Customer Functions and member of Management team in the store, driving the totality of the business agenda. You will create extraordinary growth in sales & visitation by spearheading the multichannel competitive challenges, securing strong brand positioning, local home furnishing expertise and a seamless multichannel customer experience. You will act as a business partner to the Market Manager, providing strategic advice and functional expertise to drive the retail agenda in line with logistics and customer priorities.

 

About the assignment: 

  • act as a member of the Commercial Management Team and proactively contribute to IKEA business plan, commercial plan and commercial calendar process,
  • Secures competitive position of IKEA in a multichannel retail environment, in close cooperation with relevant stakeholders (e.g. Store Commercial Manager, Business Navigation Operations Manager, People & Culture Unit Manager),
  • actively contributing to the creation of the store business plan and converting business plan goals into clear actions within the customer services & goods flow area and implementing these actions,
  • taking responsibility for planning, organising and monitoring the flow of goods in your store from delivery to restocking,
  • being passionate leader of your team – developing the business and your people at the same time,
  • provide the frontline business operations with expertise, so that the customer is taken care of with quality and speed, across all journeys where needed,
  • follow up and identify continuous improvements to the customer experience journey, in order to deliver an excellent customer satisfaction, and maximize conversion in all touchpoints,
  • empowering your function by delegating responsibilities to help them grow and develop according to their individual ability and experience,
  • embrace the digital transformation in the market and be a digital ambassador in the function.
