Take incoming calls from customers and listen to their concerns, complaints, and questions carefully.
Always handle the resolution of cases in a professional manner and take notes on customer comments and concerns.
Connect customers and vendors to the appropriate department if you are unable to assist them adequately with their needs.
Meet with customer service supervisors regularly, to discuss performance and set new goals.
Review recordings of calls and identify key areas that can use improvement.
Respond to client email inquiries in a timely and polite manner.
Send company emails to customers who have expressed interest in services.
Process both, telephone and written customer inquiries (inbound and outbound);
Attend scheduled training sessions, in order to expand your skillset and knowledge of company procedures.
Follow up and contact clients with open issues and update account information in the system, once the case is solved.
Native proficiency in Japanese
Knowledge of English language
Working experience as a call center representative (retail, logistic, back -office operations, sales, financial or payment services, or in a call center environment with customer service via telephone, email and/or face-to-face)
Knowledge of Office programs (MS Office)
University degree or equivalent
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a team
Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
Attention to details
Ability to cope with stressful situations
Familiarity/comfort level working with software and hardware
Experience with general technologies, IP and networking, Microsoft Windows OS.
Knowledge of a third language (i.e.: German / Spanish / Italian / French / Polish)
