Your responsibilities

  • Managing, coaching and empowering teams to achieve goals in line with the business strategy in the field of customer experience and profitability.

  • Managing development and engagement of the team and Team Leaders.

  • Enhancing and executing talent acquisition, retention and employee experience strategy

  • Managing cost budget for supervised customer service function in line with set objectives.

  • Enabling functional simplification by identifying, initiating and monitoring improvement projects that leverage technology to transform how work is organized and executed.

  • Developing and approving plans for service offerings, processes, operations, business controls, expenses, resources, training, customer satisfaction and other business objectives.

  • Maintaining in-depth product, company and market strategy knowledge and support continuous knowledge transfer.

  • Providing ongoing support to execution of multiple projects or support programs of significant importance and high impact to success of multiple business functions, customers or regional teams.

  • Liaising and supporting internal stakeholders including Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics and IT on a daily basis. Support aligning and achieving goals within those functions.

  • Fostering relationship and best practice sharing with other customer service organizations in IP/Sylvamo.

Our requirements

  • University degree or equivalent business experience required

  • Min. 2 years of leadership experience

  • Experience of successfully managing a medium sized customer service/sales team and achieving departmental and organizational objectives

  • Avaiability to work afternoon shift (2 pm - 11 pm)

  • Functional knowledge of sales and supply chain business processes

  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Fluency in English

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in rapidly changing environment

  • You will be leading a highly engaged customer service team to ensure a consistent delivery of high level of service to customers and internal stakeholders. You will lead efforts to maximize the efficiency & effectiveness of customer service operations in a fast-paced environment. This position will lead cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, credit department, manufacturing, supply chain and logistics to achieve organizational goals such as reducing cost, improving customer experience, and creating competitive differentiation.

The Global Customer Service Center’s mission is to deliver exceptional customer service to our North American customers. You will be the link between our customers and internal departments. You will be the ambassador on your customers’ behalf, and your relationship with will be critical to our company’s commercial success.

If you are still a student, we are happy to offer you full-time employment in the afternoon and evening hours, from Monday through Friday. Our work starts at 2 pm, 3pm or 4pm to 11 pm, 12pm or 1am, so that customers can reach us during their business hours.
