Your responsibilities

  • Participate and carry out assessments, in alignment with the project’s policies and procedures, to identify vulnerable households

  • Ensure that the beneficiary households are well served in alignment with identified guidelines.

  • Assist and contribute to regular reporting and data management which will be developed and provided throughout the project’s timeframe.

  • Assist in the conduction of data validation and cross checking for data received from the field.

  • Work with relevant units to enhance, strengthen and promote the evidence base on the program.

  • Support in designing solutions to integrate, centralize and automate data and information management within the program.

  • Ensure that refugees are provided with the needed guidance with regard to the cash assistance activities and procedures.

  • Act as a representative to ensure the acceptance and the visibility of the project and its objectives among beneficiaries, their families and local communities.

  • Ensure that accurate data and information from all field work activities implemented are properly filed, documented and updated.

  • Establish and maintain a well-structured filing system for all activities executed at the designated areas.

  • Represent Save the Children in the most respectful and professional manner while demonstrating a full abidance to the projects’ policies and procedures.

  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding and insight about the local community to which he/she is assigned to.

  • Carry out other assigned tasks as required throughout the project’s implementation phase.

  • Collaborate to the design of communication material

Our requirements

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Working proficiency in English (written and oral)

  • Excellent knowledge of data management, including use of MS excel

  • Ability to quickly learn to accurately use new data management systems

  • Ability to abide by strict data management processes to protect sensitive information

  • Ability to work with refugee populations and demonstrate a respectful attitude and sensitivity

  • Ability to establish professional relationships with people of different backgrounds

  • Ability to work in teams and execute tasks as required throughout the project’s implementation phase

  • (Desirable) Experience in Social Work or Community Engagement

  • (Desirable) Experience working with NGOs.

  • (Desirable) Fluency in Ukrainian highly desired.

  • (Desirable) Experience supporting humanitarian or development projects.

  • (Desirable) Experience in data collection, data processing (incl. cleaning) data analysis and report writing

  • (Desirable) Language skills in Polish and or Russian
