Role overview:
In this position you will be reporting to the VP Chief Security & Compliance Officer, providing advice and security consultancy to all areas of Acxiom and its customers. Duties and responsibilities:
- Conduct the investigations or forensics using the following capabilities:
- system administration concepts for operating systems such as but not limited to Unix/Linux, IOS, Android, and Windows operating systems and binary analysis
- network architecture concepts including topology, protocols, and components
- web mail collection, searching/analysing techniques, tools, and cookies
- which system files (e.g., log files, registry files, configuration files) contain relevant information and where to find those system files
- debugging procedures and tools
- file type abuse by adversaries for anomalous behaviour and malware analysis tools
- file system implementations (e.g., New Technology File System [NTFS], File Allocation Table [FAT], File Extension [EXT])
- processes for seizing and preserving digital evidence
- Remain informed on trends and issues in the security industry, including current and emerging technologies and regulatory and compliance issues
Key skills:
- Industry recognised certification such as CISM or CISSP
- Exposure to abovementioned capabilities
- Knowledge of Windows, Unix, or Linux, allowing for identifying, modifying, and manipulating applicable system components within (e.g., passwords, user accounts, files)
- Experience with using virtual machines. (e.g., Microsoft Hyper-V, VMWare vSphere, Citrix XenDesktop/Server, Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud, etc.)
- Familiarity with using binary analysis tools (e.g., Hexedit, command code xxd, hexdump)
- Understanding of one-way hash functions (e.g., Secure Hash Algorithm [SHA], Message Digest Algorithm [MD5])
- Very good English language skills, written and spoken
