    Cyber Security Engineer
    • Create software designs to satisfy cyber-security requirements
    • Document designs and rationale 
    • Link design information to requirements
    •  Identify architecture for software / peripheral components
    • Support software team for proper implementation and integration
    • Work with third party suppliers of software and firmware to support cyber security
    • Support testing to confirm compliance to requirements
    • Perform design reviews, Support requirement reviews

    Required Skills:

    Minimum two years of experience in embedded software Engineering degree

    • Embedded C programming
    • Knowledge of compilers, linkers and debugging tools
    • Knowledge of the software design life cycle
    • Logical problem solving techniques
    • Conceptual understanding of flash programming mechanisms
    • Basic understanding of vehicle serial communications
    • Basic understanding of standard security mechanisms and techniques – Encryption, authentication, hashing, TRNG/PRNG, <others??>
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Works well with teams remote and on-site
    • willingness to relocate

    Preferred Skills:

    • Cybersecurity concepts in automotive / embedded systems domain
    • SHE (Secure Hardware Extension)
    • Secure/Authenticated Boot Process
    • Message Authentication
    • Key Provisioning
    • Understanding of hardware accelerators (Hardware Security Module, etc)
    • Understanding of cybersecurity algorithms (AES, ECC Curves, RSA, SHA, HMAC, CMAC, etc)
    • Use of Vector toolchain – CANoe, CANape, CANalyzer
    • Familiarity with CAPL scripting language
    • Hands on experience with software static analysis tools (examples - QAC, Polyspace)
    • Prior experience integrating third party security firmware
    • Use and configuration of the AUTOSAR Software Stack (specifically Crypto Stack) and Tools (Vector DaVinci preferred)
    • Work in an international environment in the company with a stable position in the market.
