Cyber Security Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for the engineering and support of secure configuration management (SCM) and vulnerability management platforms (VM). The main focus of the role will be:

  • Collaboratively working in an Agile team that delivers development of internal and integrated 3rd party platforms for Cyber Security SCM and VM solutions.
  • Coordinating with internal cyber security teams and hosting teams to integrate cyber security solutions.
  • Remediating issues with the cyber security platforms and providing engineering solution.

Qualifications:

Skills:

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. Technical customer support experience would be a plus.
  • Detailed knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.
  • Detailed knowledge of cyber security, computer networking, and computer hardware and software.
  • Knowledge of computer development software across multiple platforms.
  • Agile methodology (SCRUM or KANBAN)
  • Key technical skills include SQL, Red Hat Linux, Windows Server, MS SQL Database, Scripting (PERL/Python/Powershell), REST API

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required.
  • 3-5 years’ experience required.
