About the project
We are looking for an Anti-Fraud Sheriff who wants to expand his expertise in data engineering, research, and domain knowledge. This role combines an analytical approach to identifying improvement areas and designing related solutions with a hands-on approach to ensuring those solutions are implemented. We look for a problem solver who likes to make things happen.
Your responsibilities
Converting ideas into working solutions
Research and brainstorm together to identify creative new ways of detecting fraudsters.
There is no limit if you want to dig deeper. Fancy some reverse engineering? Sure. Want to look into the data from another perspective? You got it. Find your perfect spot to protect the users of the Internet.
Propose and deliver PoCs with the team.
Our requirements
Tinkering mindset
At least two years of developer experience within a commercial product environment
Good command of Python and basic skills with JavaScript
Optional
Understanding how networks work and the architecture of the internet
Knowledge of browser, mobile, and internet security
Low-level knowledge of how operating systems (Linux, macOS, Windows, iOS, Android) work
Ability to lead quality technical discussions and brainstorming sessions
Previous experience in an R&D position
Understanding and practical knowledge of machine learning
Experience handling non-trivial traffic volume and data set
Experience in malware analysis and code deobfuscation
Experience in developing fingerprinting techniques
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Understanding of database systems
Experience with PostgreSQL
