Senior Application Security Tooling Manager
Location: Kraków

The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will be a member of the Global Cybersecurity Assessments and Testing team. This role is responsible for designing, automating, deploying, and integrating tools within the global cybersecurity vulnerability management team. This role will partner heavily with the Vulnerability Management Operational teams to create, design, and evaluate solutions for day to day problems as well as working closely with Pen Testers and Application Security Engineering to integrate their tools and support the end-to-end secure deployment of security technologies across the firm as well as leading and attracting talent to build a world class team.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Developing integration pieces for the various tools within the VM estate
  • Implementing architectural designs and patterns given by senior members of the team
  • Developing tools and scripts for reporting and operational teams across Cybersecurity
  • Managing installations of tools and applications in the space
  • Evaluate, select, design, implement, and transition vulnerability scanning/management technologies and services.
  • Understanding and validating the bank’s digital footprint, both internal and external
  • Technology asset discovery and security posture assessment
  • Proposing new technologies and techniques to quickly and comprehensively identify vulnerable infrastructure and platforms in the environment.
  • Implementing and maintaining an effective engagement model across all regions, global businesses, and global functions.
  • Researching, engaging, and managing third party vendors where relevant to support functional objectives.
  • Working with security start-ups, as well as more established companies, to support design partnerships and shape product/service offerings to meet the requirements of the bank.
  • Provide thought leadership to the function and broader Cybersecurity organization, driving transformational change and capability uplift across the bank.
  • Collaborate with various layers of management across Cybersecurity and other IT teams to develop solutions that protect the organization.
  • Design and drive the implementation of service offerings, capability uplifts, and process improvements to protect the bank for a continuously changing threat landscape

Specific Requirements:

  • 10+ years of Programming Skills (Java, C#, Ruby, PHP, etc)
  • 10+ years of Scripting Skills (Python, Perl, Bash, etc)
  • 10+ years of Networking skills (TCP/IP, Subnetting, Firewalls, etc)
  • 10+ years of System Admin skills (Configuring / managing servers, Linux / Windows)
  • 10+ years of Debugging skills (Stack traces, log files, and other system outputs)
  • 10+ years of Any flavor SQL (MySQL, DB2, Oracle, etc)
  • 3+ years of Cloud Engineering (Alibaba, GCP, AWS, Azure, etc)
  • Knowledge of Vulnerability Scanning / Pen Testing / Red Teaming Background
  • Knowledge of Tenable.io / Nessus / Security Center (or similar Vulnerability Scanning products)
  • Knowledge of Vulnerability Consolidation (Kenna Security, Archer, etc)
  • Knowledge of SAST / DAST (Fortify, IBM AppScan, etc)
  • Knowledge of Governance, Risk & Compliance
  • Knowledge of Patch Management
  • Automation and Orchestration driven mindset
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast pace and team focused environment
  • Proven record of delivering and completing assigned tasks
  • Willingness to continuously learn and share learnings with others.
  • Mentoring and guiding of junior team members
  • Leadership and teamwork
