    (Cybersecurity Technology) Vulnerability Discovery (VD) Engineer
    Location: Kraków

    The Vulnerability Discovery (VD) Engineer will be a member of the Global Cybersecurity Technology team. This team is responsible for identifying, developing and deploying global cybersecurity controls across the estate leveraging the firm’s assets, network and data to identify threats. This role will partner heavily with IT Infrastructure Delivery (ITID) and support the end-to-end secure deployment of security technologies across the firm as well as leading and attracting talent to build a world class team.

     

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Evaluate, select, design, implement, and transition vulnerability scanning/management technologies and services.
    • Understanding and validating the bank’s digital footprint, both internal and external
    • Technology asset discovery and security posture assessment
    • Proposing new technologies and techniques to quickly and comprehensively identify vulnerable infrastructure and platforms in the environment.
    • Implementing and maintaining an effective engagement model across all regions, global businesses, and global functions.
    • Researching, engaging, and managing third party vendors where relevant to support functional objectives.

    Requirements:

    • Demonstrative experience focused on networking and network security.
    • Strong understanding of enterprise security management practices including incident response, security operations, forensic analysis, intelligence gathering, and malware analysis
    • Experiece with enterprise networks, routing, and switching
    • Experience with infrastructure and platform vulnerability scanning solutions (e.g. Qualys, Tenable/Nessus, Rapid7, OpenVAS, etc.)
    • Experience in understanding and validating public-facing digital footprints by leveraging external technologies and vendor services (e.g. RiskIQ, Qadium, etc.)
