Your responsibilities
Completing Statutory Financial Statements.
Main point of contact for external auditors for providing source information and driving completion of statutory audits.
Ensure that all government returns such as corporate income tax and statistical reports etc. are duly prepared and submitted to the authorities.
Provide leadership to the overall corporate governance of those entities, interacting with the Local Board of Directors, Corporate Departments, and the Controller’s Office.
Oversee all payroll postings and associated reconciliations.
Complete responsibility for US GAAP balance sheet month end reporting process.
Our requirements
Strong experience in Accounting and Reporting in a multinational company, with minimum 3-5 years responsibility for DACH Statutory Reporting.
The job holder will have a university professional qualification in economics and accounting.
Fluency in English and German both written and spoken is essential.
Knowledge of US GAAP/local GAAPs reporting gained in a multinational company.
Very good understanding of tax accounting and reporting.
Exposure to major ERP system, preferably SAP R3.
Orientation to work with strict deadlines is essential.
Excellent coordination and inter-personal skills, a proactive approach, working to and prioritizing strict deadlines, analytical in nature and ability to plan effectively.
Willingness and confidence to lead discussions with senior business leaders.

Position overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Global Business Services (GBS) for a highly motivated individual to manage compliance and financial reporting activities for K-C’s DACH legal entities. The role is working within the Record to Reporting (RTR) team and will be cooperating closely with Controller’s office in support of other EMEA accounting matters.
The role primary responsibilities are a full management in the area of statutory financial reporting, US group reporting, tax accounting, balance sheet and P&L maintenance and ensuring organizational financial stability, statutory compliance for DACH entities.
The role provides the opportunity to network with other EMEA members of financial reporting organization in order to share learning and best practice and to contribute to driving a “best in class team” performance. Key relationships are with the GBS accounting teams, tax, treasury, internal control, external audit and Controller’s office.
