Your responsibilities
- Complete the technical development of B.I initiatives, ensuring constant communication under the leadership of the BI Team Manager.
- Leverage documented requirements, as defined by the business and BI Team Manager to develop effective business solutions.
- Be an active member of the internal and external B.I communities to ensure continuous personal learning and knowledge sharing with other members of the B.I Analytics Team.
- Ensuring iterative design processes are followed, providing regular feedback and engagement to the business.
- Actively participating in feedback to other analysts with respect to the development of new initiatives.
Our requirements
- Bachelor or master degree - BI, computer science, econometrics, operations research or statistics preferred, or equivalent working experience.
- Minimum 1 year past work experience as a BI, business or data analyst required.
- Fluent English.
- Passionate about data and analytics, with knowledge of data visualisation and analytical techniques.
- Working experience in BI tools (for example Tableau).
- Ability to demonstrate examples of having previously utilized Tableau and/or Alteryx to deliver insights through effective storytelling.
- Querying databases (SQL) and/or ETL tools (e.g. Alteryx, Azure Data Factory) is desired.
- Working experience in analytical toolkit (e.g. SPSS, SAS, R, Python) would be a plus.
- Demonstrates an ability to learn new techniques and tools, as and when identified, for example predictive modelling.
- Communication - Excellent presentation skills (verbal and written),
- Strong analytical mindset with an ability to interpret, visualize and tell the story behind the data.
- Focus on providing relevant solutions to the clients’ challenges, which drive productivity, profitability, client satisfaction or other important business metrics.
- Awareness of the dynamics of working within a complex, corporate, environment.
- Able to deliver high-quality work in a timely manner, also under time pressure.
