Complete the technical development of B.I initiatives, ensuring constant communication under the leadership of the BI Team Manager.
Leverage documented requirements, as defined by the business and BI Team Manager to develop effective business solutions.
Be an active member of the internal and external B.I communities to ensure continuous personal learning and knowledge sharing with other members of the B.I Analytics Team.
Ensuring iterative design processes are followed, providing regular feedback and engagement to the business.
Actively participating in feedback to other analysts with respect to the development of new initiatives.
Bachelor or master degree - BI, computer science, econometrics, operations research or statistics preferred, or equivalent working experience.
Minimum 1 year past work experience as a BI, business or data analyst required.
Passionate about data and analytics, with knowledge of data visualisation and analytical techniques.
Working experience in BI tools (for example Tableau).
Ability to demonstrate examples of having previously utilized Tableau and/or Alteryx to deliver insights through effective storytelling.
Querying databases (SQL) and/or ETL tools (e.g. Alteryx, Azure Data Factory) is desired.
Working experience in analytical toolkit (e.g. SPSS, SAS, R, Python) would be a plus.
Demonstrates an ability to learn new techniques and tools, as and when identified, for example predictive modelling.
Communication - Excellent presentation skills (verbal and written),
Strong analytical mindset with an ability to interpret, visualize and tell the story behind the data.
Focus on providing relevant solutions to the clients’ challenges, which drive productivity, profitability, client satisfaction or other important business metrics.
Awareness of the dynamics of working within a complex, corporate, environment.
Able to deliver high-quality work in a timely manner, also under time pressure.
