    Description

    A challenging role in the IRRBB modelling team. The team owns quantitative models in the context of the measurement of interest rate risks in the banking book. In particular, the team is responsible for models describing the expected behaviour of certain client deposit types. We are looking for a junior model specialist to contribute to the development and maintenance of quantitative models in this context. This includes analyses, implementation of algorithms and documentation and presentation of results.

    Qualifications

    • You have a strong quantitative background and real passion for promoting impactful solutions
    • You have a university degree in a quantitative field of study such as mathematics, economics, statistics or related
    • You have experience in building and improving quantitative models
    • You have programming experience for example in R, Matlab, Python or C# (Experience with SQL would be a plus)
    • You have interest in financial instruments, financial markets and risk management concepts. Relevant experience in Banking/Finance is an asset
    • You are a strong team player and enjoy working in an international environment
    • You have Microsoft Office application knowledge (particularly MS Excel)
    • You have excellent English skills, German is a plus
    • You have an ability to work independently and look for pragmatic solutions
    • You are a communicative and enthusiastic character
