Your responsibilities
Work within an Agile development supporting full-stack engineers and DevSecOps experts to ensure effective data delivery
Identify methods to optimize data flow and ingestion
Establish and maintain large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements
Collaborate with the Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect, and Technical Lead to resolve data-related technical issues
Design data processing systems
Work with data scientists to build data analytics capabilities that innovative new products require
Ensure data privacy and sovereignty requirements are considered for each solution
You will be working with state-of-the data engineering tooling from the Atos and client ecosystems
Be a part of multi-disciplinary teams with strong capabilities spanning business consulting, client engagement, deal-making, and solution architecture, data engineering, and developers.
Deliver the full detailed solution to the client.
Our requirements
+3 years of experience as a Data Engineer
Good understanding of industry trends and methodologies used in the Cloud environment (Google Cloud, Azure, AWS)
Minimum B.A. – preferably M.A. from relevant areas (technical, IT, mathematical, econometrics, data science, quantitative methods, physics),
Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and Cassandra.
Experience with stream-processing systems: Apache Storm, Apache Spark, etc.
Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, R
Training and Certifications in the Data Engineering field are highly desirable
Fluent in English and ideally another European language especially French, German, Spanish.
International mobility to serve our global clients and work with our teams in London, Paris, Munich, Amsterdam, Geneva, Madrid (50%)
EU work permit is a must
Location: anywhere in Poland close to an international airport. Warszawa, Wrocław or Kraków, Łódź, Bydgoszcz
