For our client, an international company from the aviation industry, we are looking for a person for the position:
Data Engineer
Your responsibilities:
The Data Engineer position has main responsibility to prepare data for analytical and/or operational uses. The position will work closely with various application teams to develop, maintain and support reporting solutions.
- Gather, analyse and document business analytical/reporting requirements
- Create and maintain data sources for report development
- Provide data architecture designs including master and reference data
- Produce and verify electronic report templates using reporting tools
- Create and update ETL procedures
- Provide ongoing management/maintenance, performance monitoring and tuning of the reporting environment
- Providing end-user support to stakeholders
- Participate in patch and new release testings
What we expect from you:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated strong hands-on working experience in dataset creation and report building
- University degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems
- DAMA certified
- Fluent English require
- Advanced knowledge of SQL
- Data modeling, query optimization and data quality techniques
- Ability to analyze and create large data set
- Performance Monitoring: User query, ETL query, SSAS, SSRS, Tableau reports execution
- Basic knowledge of statistics: Mean, median, standard deviation, range, variance, r-squared, correlation, distribution, probability, basic graph types
- Good understanding of systems development lifecycle
- Ability to work flexible hours
