About the project

Our client is a leading consulting company with established position in the market. Our client is a partner of the largest technology providers - Microsoft, AWS, Google, IBM. We are currently looking for a Data Engineer with analytical mind to join the international remote team and support projects from various industries.

Your responsibilities
Analyzing and organizing raw data
Collecting and combining raw informationfrom diverse sources
Preparing data for modeling (prescriptive and predictive)
Interpretationof patterns and trends
Building data pipelines and systems
Conducting data analyses and reporting on results
Searching for new data acquisition opportunities and exploring different ways to improve data quality
Building algorithms, prototypes and developing new analyticaltools
Assessment of business needs and goals
Collaborating with data scientists and architects on the projects
Our requirements
Min. 3 years of experience in cloud data warehousing (e.g. Amazon Redshift, Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Google BigQuery),
Min. 3 years of experience in modeling and optimizing data warehouses in SQL
Experience in workflow modeling and optimization(e.g. DBT, Apache Airflow)
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
Fluency in English (min. B2) – spoken and written
Optional
Python programming skills
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
Development capacity in Misrosoft On-Prem (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
Automation skills (using e.g. Terraform, AWS CodeBuild, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
Experience with visualization technologies (e.g. Looker, MS PowerBI)
