Your responsibilities

  • Provide a single point of contact for data governance analyst activities relating to transition projects and Data Help Desk tickets which will include reporting out the status to the Data Project Coordinator and Data Manager.

  • Work with Data Governance and Data Management leads to ensure that data quality metric standards are met and adhered to for all transition projects and Data Help Desk tickets, at go-live (Transitions) and on an on-going basis (Data Help Desk tickets).

  • Recognize opportunities to improve the migration and transition project process and communicate their ideas to the leads of Data Governance and Data Management.

  • Provide input to existing and new data standards.

  • Work closely with on-account teams to gather all data needs, including mastered data, while adhering to data standards.

  • Must handle multiple tasks, manage time effectively, and establish priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and changing team environment

  • Perform additional job duties and support special projects as assigned, which will include but not be limited to data remediation issues.

  • Provide clear, up-to-date status on all work items

  • Be responsible for issue resolution of supported systems during daily operations.

  • Be responsible for oversight of data integration, data flows and downstream impact, primarily as they relate to BAU.

  • Work with data governance peers to adhere to compliance policies and procedures.

  • Participate in product testing for any requested enhancements to ensure a quality solution.

  • Provide training/ education for product users to properly govern the data for quality and protection.

  • Participate in the design and allocation of data governance and data stewardship resources after product deployment.

  • Review user requests for system and process enhancements related to data standards and quality.

  • Assist in documentation of business processes and standard operations in support of the BAU data governance and stewardship operations for deployed products.

Our requirements

  • 4+ years of master data management related experience in an enterprise environment across multiple application systems and business functions

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Management, MIS, Library Science, Computer Science or related fields; advanced degree preferred

  • 3 + years related experience in commercial real estate management (preferred) or related industry

  • Hands-on experience with data profiling is preferred.

  • Software development life cycle knowledge, with particular background in agile philosophies and methodologies

  • Detail oriented

  • Ability to multi-task and work both in a team and independently

  • Ability to effectively work and communicate across organizational lines.

  • Experience in dealing with internal and external customers, service providers and vendors. Must be able to manage competing priorities.

  • Needs to be resilient; resolving conflicts quickly to achieve desired business results

  • Superior analytical and creative problem-solving skills. Apply listening and consultative skills to understand business needs; be able to interpret requirements, identify impacts and analyse problems to determine impacts to business processes across the organization.

  • Superior ability to manage, manipulate and analyse raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations using technology. Articulate the issues and resolutions via business-friendly communications.

  • Ability to understand and produce user-based documentation for complex data and analytics products. Articulate the issues and resolutions via business-friendly communications. Serve as primary day-to-day contact for product related data governance issues.

  • Superior project management/ consulting and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to facilitate complex, mission critical projects and to develop, participate in and guide multi-disciplinary work teams. Manage task timelines and deliverable schedules and share concerns about deliverables, timelines, and issues with Data Governance and project managers.

  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills. Strong negotiation and group facilitation skills; ability to move a process forward, while meeting the needs of a variety of internal customers.

  • Knowledge of data lifecycle and maintenance processes.

  • Ability to work well under deadlines, ability to work in a multi-tasking production environment to make good judgments about competing priorities.

  • Experience with data management tools.

  • Excellent SQL skills.

  • Expert level skills in MS Visio, Excel, Word and PowerPoint required.

  • Good understanding of data quality management. Knowledge of data governance and how it impacts business processes.

  • Knowledge of data management in a global environment, including data lifecycle and maintenance processes.

  • Ability to work well under deadlines, ability to work in a multi-tasking production environment to make good judgments about competing priorities.

  • Ability to tell a story to explain or sell a concept.

Role Purpose

The Data Governance Analyst –Product Support will contribute to data governance and guidance for data migration and product deployment personnel. This person will work closely with the data governance leaders assigned to various regions, business lines, markets and client accounts to understand best practices, JLL data standards and policies, and the product features that will be offered to users.
