Your responsibilities
Partner with key Business Data owners and SMEs to identify data that is critical to their business
Design and establish data governance frameworks to ensure the accuracy and quality of data through all upstream and downstream data channels
Establish Data Governance Councils, run meetings and manage artifacts
Participate and provide thought leadership in new Infor projects and various change management activities that involve any upstream or downstream data flows and processes
Proactively coordinate the resolution of data integrity gaps by working closely with business data owners and various IT teams
Monitor data quality metrics and report on findings to key stakeholders to drive continuous improvement
Our requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Management, or related field
1-2 years in a Data Governance Role and/or 3-5 years in Data Analyst Role
Strong understanding of databases, data structures and how dashboards and reports work
Good facilitation and problem-solving skills to drive issues to closure
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment with the ability to interface with Executives, Business Users and IT Leaders and Developers
Ability to build relationships virtually across multiple functional areas
Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervision
Experience in a data analyst and/or data engineering role
Familiarity with data visualization and developer tools
Master and Reference data experience
Data modeling and architecture exposure
Experience in working at a Software/SaaS company with working knowledge of marketing, sales, professional services, and customer success business processes

The Data Governance Specialist is critical to Infor’s Data Strategy and will be responsible for developing and implementing Infor IT’s Data Governance frameworks to ensure quality and accuracy of data across Infor. Keys to success in this role is the ability to build strong partnerships with business and technology stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have Data Governance expertise, strong business acumen, and will be able to leverage these competencies to provide stewardship and oversight of key institutional data. The role will be reporting under the Data Frameworks Team from the IT-Data Management and Analytics (IT-DMA) group. IT-DMA’s vision is for Data Democratization, empowering every Inforian to make data-driven decisions.
