Your responsibilities

  • The Data Integration Specialist​ is skilled in managing efficient processes for collecting, aggregating, matching, consolidating, and distributing data across the organization and departments. These actions ensure consistency, quality, and control in the ongoing maintenance and application use of this information. Data consists of Master Data (customer, products, suppliers, locations), Transaction Data (invoices, orders, shipments, purchase history), and Meta & Analytical Data (calculation formulas, units, metrics, measures). The goal is to coordinate consistent and accurate information across departments throughout the company. This is achieved by communicating through reports, meetings, and memos. Key processes need to align to the business goals and strategies.

  • Identify, analyse and recommend improvements to key business processes

  • Implement, streamline, and promote lean processes by which data is collected, shared and stored

  • Ensure timely reporting and consolidation of data. This includes schedules for monthly closing and annual budget deadlines

  • Maintain efficiency by reducing inaccurate and unusable data

  • Increase consistency and confidence in the data

  • Define and enforce business rules, data definitions and data integrity constraints.

  • Monitor corrective actions

  • Assist with the merger of master data for acquisitioned companies

  • Provide experienced support and guidance to all sectors of the business with regards to data integrity

  • Governance of the master data hierarchies

  • Monitor processes for ongoing improvement

  • Cooperation on a daily basis with different stakeholders and Master Data Manager

Our requirements

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Previous experience with working with large amount of data

  • Good at building and maintaining relationships with all levels of staff and management

  • Maturity with strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong in problem solving and meeting deadlines

  • Team player and ability to motivate other team members

  • Positive mind set

  • Creative problem solver, with a “can do” attitude

  • Experience with Power BI and SQL is a plus but not required
