Data Privacy & Information Security Senior Manager
Localization: Wrocław

Job purpose:

Your goal will be developing and implementing the Global Information Security and data privacy strategy as well as oversees all ongoing activities related to the development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s information privacy practice. You will also ensure AmRest’s data privacy compliances execution on the markets to secure the company's sustainability and strategic goals realization.   

 

Your challenges:

  • Maintaining Global GDPR policies and procedures, implementing Information Security Framework, and executing policies and procedures in AmRest countries. 
  • Cooperating with countries DPO and functional Leaders in assessing strategic and operational GDPR and Information Security risks.  
  • Leading GDPR/IS Assessments, managing crises, and incidents. 
  • Monitoring GDPR and IS risks to prevent an unwanted impact on business objectives and organizational reputation. 
  • Monitoring compliance with GDPR regulations, and data protection provisions and with the policies of the controller or processor in relation to the protection of personal data, including the assignment of responsibilities, awareness-raising, and training of staff involved in processing operations, and related audits. 
  • Driving GDPR Improvement plans execution across the countries. 
  • Building relationships with multiple internal stakeholders, business partners across the global organization, to ensure proper GDPR management processes execution, escalations and compliance. 
  • Applying a “less is more“ mindset in managing budgets and resources. 

 

Your skills & experience:

  • Higher education degree, preferably: Law. 
  • Min. 3+ years of experience in a similar role or area. 
  • Min. 2+ years of experience in Team Leadership. 
  • Practical knowledge and experience of privacy and data protection regulations and security assessment methodologies, standards and best practices (eg. ISO 27003, NIST) 
  • Fluent proficiency in English. 
  • Very good MS Office skills. 
  • Experience in building and managing effective relationships with Senior Stakeholders. 
  • Experience as a DPO will be an additional advantage.
