    Dentons Business Services EMEA (DBSE) is a joint initiative between the UK, Middle East and Africa (UKMEA) and Europe regions of the Firm. It leverages both regions' combined scale and resources more effectively by co-locating in one center certain tasks that are currently performed across numerous offices, enabling the Firm to deliver better service and increased value to clients

    Data Privacy Team - 1 year contract

    Warsaw, Poland


    To provide support to the Data Privacy Team.


    Efficient processing of various tasks including:

    • Handling and supporting privacy matters under supervision
    • Supporting the Firm's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Programme and the various work streams as required
    • Responding to queries from individuals, including assisting with the searches and collation of data, the review and preparation of responses to DSARs, and other DP related requests from individuals
    • Providing support with the management and reporting of data breach notifications
    • Giving a "Data Privacy view" of the activities taking place across processes
    • Assisting with relevant privacy related policies and procedures (e.g. retention) and their implementation
    • File management where required
    • Carrying out legal Data Privacy research
    • Assisting with preparations for training on data privacy

    Experience Skills & Knowledge

    • Knowledge and understanding of compliance /data protection work, obtained through work experience in a similar environment
    • Experience in or exposure to Data Protection or Compliance work in legal or other industry
    • Experience in dealing with DSARs or compliance processes preferable
    • Administration/paralegal experience
    • Possesses the confidence to deal effectively with professionals across the firm
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Able to prioritize and multi-task particularly when working under pressure and to tight deadlines
    • Able to interact positively at all levels and a good team player
    • Methodical approach to work with a strong focus on accuracy
    • Hardworking and enthusiastic approach to work; professional in outlook, attitude and appearance
    • Self-motivated
    • Exceptional proof-reader
