Automating tasks to focus on what matters; being able to easily simulate results across complex scenarios; embedding self-learning algorithms in decision making to improve performance. To support Mars Inc’s transformation vision, the Digital Foundation program is on a mission to build data as an asset and transform master data capabilities including: people, process, technology, and data. One of the key ingredient in building Data-as-an-asset is around building Data Governance & Organization.

Your responsibilities

  • Liaising with Data Councils and Data Quality Portfolio Managers –to identify and translate standards (Governance) into Data Quality rules, including business requirement, testing, rollout, training etc. With the objective of create a global Data Quality catalog per Data Council.

  • Monitor Data Quality KPIs adherence and engage regional and local units/markets partnering with Data Stewards with cleansing activities that will improve the Data Quality KPI’s.

  • Identify and drive continues improvement process that will improve data quality.

  • Actively influence and support the global set of tools, frameworks and process to implement data quality.

  • Drive projects for large scale cleansing of data where applicable.

  • Build Data Quality rules associated to demand in SAP Info Steward

  • Identify, compare, and resolve data quality problems presented within rule sets

  • Help Data Quality Portfolio Managers & Business lead in root cause analysis of the Data Quality issues

  • Provide development specifications to Data Quality DevOps Team and manage delivery through AGILE process (JIRA)

  • Execute test cases and verify test results to validate mass cleansing routines.

  • Document and keep up to date Data Quality related assets in Mars Data Wiki

Our requirements

  • Bachelors degree in IT

  • Has minimum 3-5 years of experience in Master Data Management and Data Analysis.

  • Has experience in working in a complex multi-national corporate environment.

  • Ability to collaborate with multiple teams including: Data Quality Portfolio Manager, Data Champions and Regional Data Stewards, etc.

  • Detail analysis in order to identify opportunities (trends) in the data that will trigger continues improvement activities.

  • Being able to engage the business in cleansing activities.

  • Strong background in SAP Information Steward and SAP Data Services developer, SQL AND SAP ECC

  • Drive continues improvement process.

  • Proficient in writing and oral communications

The Data Quality Analyst reports to the Data Quality Portfolio Manager and will be responsible to support and reinforce the Global Data Quality strategy and the adherence to the Data Quality process. They will work with Data Quality Portfolio Managers to understand Data standards and translate into Data Quality rules. They will also identify Data Quality opportunities and engage the Markets/Units to drive Continues Improvement process that warranties the Data Quality.
