Your responsibilities
An outstanding opportunity to join us as a data scientist to build foundational capabilities for risk reporting. Build data integration solutions within a big data platform, design and develop algorithms, build prototype versions, carry out extensive validation with business experts and operationalize your methods. Your responsibilities include development, maintenance and extraction of knowledge from strategic internal and external data sets, as well as manage documentation of data attributes and data sources in a concise way.

Our requirements
A Bachelor or Master degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics), Information Technology (University or University of Applied Sciences) or an equivalent education.
At least 2 years of proven experience in Data Analytics.
Background in statistics, analytics methods and statistic programming tools (Python or R) and/or a programming language such as Java, C, C++, or Matlab.
Proven experience with relational database programming and complex data pipelines, as well as skills in crafting data sets from disparate sources and their further analysis using appropriate quantitative methodologies, computational frameworks and systems.
Detailed know-how in distributed data processing at scale using Spark or/and Hive is a plus.
Experience in the regulatory technologies or Risk domain within the financial industry is an asset.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in English. French or German is an advantage. Proven ability to manage work well under pressure.
Results oriented individual who demonstrates integrity, responsibility and confidentiality required for dealing with sensitive data.
