About the project
We are extending our developer team by a Data Scientist with profound knowledge in the area of data integration, machine learning and predictive analytics.
Your responsibilities
- Analysis of complex requirements, both IT and business perspective
- Conception and implementation of statistical models, algorithms and machine learning methods, like un- / supervised learning
- Provisioning of external data sources and data preparation
- Processing of IoT and sensor data
- Collaborate on an international level with key-users, business departments and IT departments such as IT Infrastructure and System Integration
- Participate in workshops with business and IT experts
Our requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the area of statistics and predictive analytics
- Good hands-on experience in scripting languages such as R, Python and SQL
- Strong analytical skills to solve complex problems, with focus on statistical methods and machine learning
- Knowledge in IBM SPSS (Modeler, Collaboration and Deployment Services) is beneficial
- Basic knowledge in agile project management and a customer focused mindset
- Good communication skills in English
- Willing to work in an ambitious international IT team
