Ardigen is harnessing advanced Artificial Intelligence methods for novel precision medicine. The company accelerates therapy development by designing immunity, decoding microbiome, analysing biomedical images and providing digital drug discovery services. Ardigen’s team is rooted in biology and holds deep expertise in bioinformatics, machine learning, and software engineering. The company’s in-house datasets together with advanced AI platforms empower the development of effective precision therapies.

Your responsibilities
Leading and coordinating the efforts related to transforming data into value through Data Science to help Ardigen and its Life Science Partners advance Precision Medicine
Working on different products or technologies (e.g. Machine Learning for Drug Design)
Modeling the interactions of biological systems and antibody engineering
Using NLP in the context of biological sequences Experience with Transformers of Graph Neural NetworksImplementing and deploying machine learning models using Python (using frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and others)
Acting as a reliable discussion/collaboration partner for clients
Our requirements
Education in a related field is highly preferred (e.g. Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, Cheminformatics, Computational Biology/Chemistry)
Experience with deep learning libraries (PyTorch, Keras, TensorFlow, etc.)
Strong programming skills in Python and good programming practices
Research experience in a computational area such as data science, computer science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, cheminformatics
Organizational, motivational and interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to summarize technically complex information for a non-technical audience
Proficiency in English (C1)
Optional
Ability to guide/inspire individuals and teams in designing innovative solutions to complex problems using Generative Models, Transformers, Reinforcement Learning, Active Learning, Bayesian Optimization, and Combinatorial Optimization
Understanding protein-molecule, protein-protein binding interactions, familiarity with antibody engineering (best bispecific antibodies)
Familiarity with DNA-encoded library screening
Familiarity with AI in drug and antibody design
